San Diego Museums

San Diego California Museums - San Diego's cultural scene has plenty of choices for you to choose from when you are ready to view some of the exhibits or browse about an interesting and entertaining museum during the day. You may choose to venture to the San Diego Art Institute, where you can view what the area schools have to offer. If you have the time, visit one of Balboa Park's museums or other attractions, including the Mingei International Museum, the Museum of Photographic Arts, the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, and the San Diego Museum of Art.

When you visit this attraction, you will not only view artifacts and period furnishings from the 1870’s, but dare to enter where the story behind the museum is that the ghost of Thomas Whalley, a New York entrepreneur resided California during the gold rush, still roams the building.
